Look guys, I didn't know what to cook, so I decided to make some sort of curry? It tasted great anyway, so here it is;
-1tsp cumin seeds
-A large, brown onion, diced.
-A large tomato, diced.
-1 tbs tomato paste.
-Green chilli, sliced.
-1 large potato
-Ginger and Garlic paste.
-1tsp of the following ingredients; Cumin powder, Turmeric powder, Chilli powder, Garam Masala.
Dice the onion and tomato, add them into a frypan with the oil.
Slice the sausages as if you were a Jew, then place them in the frypan with the onion and tomato.
Dice the potato, and add that to the frypan
Add to that frypan, the rest of ingredients.
Serve with any type of rice. (For me, I used white rice, mixed with fennel seeds and saffron)
Overall, it tasted good. I would've put some peas and corn, but unfortunately I didn't have any.
Well, i made this thread to know what's best. Imo pure cold shower would be better, why? In nature you don't have the option to go from steamy water to ice cold water. Also you are pretty warm to experience the same thing when bathing in colder water.
Ketosis is a good diet, but I would seriously recommend you also do it as a gluten free and milk free diet. The addictive exorphins of those foods cause much more damage than the carbs you can have from other roots or fruit foods, not to mention inflammation and allergic reactions. There's a lot of new research that gluten exclusion isn't just for celiac disease, but good for everybody.
Yes. You inhale more than you exhale at Stage 2. This is crucial.
You're welcome by the way guys, I hope it'll prove of use. In fact, I want to cross-post a conversation I had with another PaganPathway Discord user, a man named Optometrist Þórir, whom has slightly misunderstood the purpose of this post and the Method in general.
To all those reading; don't fall for the "I will become the next Marvel Avenger with this method" meme, but don't fall for the "cold is bad guys" meme either. First and foremost; use the head Gods granted you. Think. Now, without further ado, here it is;
Cold showers reduce T.
Cold showers and testosterone is a Semitic lie to coax the Aryan man into unintentionally reducing his fertility. Unironically.
Cold showers are unironically based, and you'd only be against a cold shower if you're stuck in the modern world, relying on society to keep you warm. I've seen varied sources, some claim that heat is in fact the testosterone killer.
The best "shower" is one at lukewarm temperature. Too much heat and you kill your sperm, too much cold and you reduce sperm production and T. This is just a fact. It's something a lot of people REEEE about, but it's true. All the "evidence" supporting cold showers is (((murky at best.))) I'm unironically a supporter of cold immersion on occasion. But this idea that you take a cold shower every day, or after a workout? It's a meme.
You have to consider what cold immersion does to your body. It literalyl activates the sympathetic response. This is why so many people feel "more alive" after cold immersion. It's literally your body dumping adrenaline, vasoconstriction, and so on.
Yes, I do know that balance is key, but if you look into the Wim Hof Method; a cold shower combined with said Tibetan-based breathing method has a dozen advantages that go far beyond 'T'.
unironically supporting a guy who believes cold immersion and breathing can cure cancer
He never said it can cure cancer. He is of the view that it can help alleviate symptoms. That's not even close to 'cure'. His point here; ‘I think absolutely that there, uh .. 95 percent of all diseases, amongst which are numerous types of cancers, can be cured.’ is him making an assumption. And before said point, he literally says proper research is necessary for this. This is nowhere near close to Hof saying My methods cure cancer guys. No one is getting hooked up here that this method cures cancer. It doesn't. It's just people not being able to read if anything lmao.
What I'm saying, for the nth time, is the research on his site is erroneous and has been disproven. The Tummo breathing method works. That actually has support scientifically. The Tummo breathing method is actually a pretty in-depth system. And it's bretty based.
Wim Hof's method is based on Tummo.
I am aware. And I just said that the Tummo breathing actually works and has scientific backing. The cold immersion stuff is bollocks though. You can achieve cold tolerance through sheer "brute forcing" and exposure.
Wim Hof works too, as it is literally based on Tummo and it underlines (even on his website) the same advantages that Tummo helps you achieve.
Okay, so with that being the case, why not just espouse the benefits of Tummo breathing and not all the bollocks about cold immersion?
Because cold immersion is good?
But it's literally not. As I linked like 6 studies above showing that it's literally not good for you.
We're not talking about sitting in a cold shower for 24 hours or swimming in a cold lake for hours upon end. We're talking about adapting to the cold, which can be done and can bring many great benefits. People do it everywhere around the globe, it's called winter swimming. You can kiss your colds goodbye this way.
The problem is that people elevate Hof to be this superhuman figure. Nevermind that he and his group failed his 2015 Kilimanjaro expedition. Nevermind that people have died using his methods.
Except I'm not one of those people, I'm just countering to your false claims about curing cancer and being against cold exposure. Cold exposure is proven to have many advantages when frequent winter swimmers were compared with ordinary folk. Less stress, more vigor, better memory, better mood. It also helps with rheumatism, fibromyalgia and asthma. And winter swimmers don't contract diseases as often as most people. The incidence of infectious diseases affecting the upper respiratory tract is 40% lower among winter swimmers when compared to a control group. Short term exposure of the whole body to cold water produces oxidative stress, which makes winter swimmers develop improved antioxidative protection.
FEAST BREAD AND OSTARA CAKES
This bread recipe is one which my sister inherited from our maternal grandmother, a Scandinavian matriarch
of the old breed. Usually we double the recipe; if there is too much, this bread freezes very well, but it
seldom lasts long enough to be put away.
½ cup warm water
2 packets yeast
¼ cup butter (melted)
¼ cup sugar
1 tablespoon salt
1½ cups milk (warmed)
7 cups flour (roughly)
Crafts / 349
Melt yeast in warm water. Combine mixture with butter, sugar, salt and eggs. Add warmed milk.
Mix in flour until dough is kneadable. Let rise until double in bulk. Make loaves by rolling out long ropes of dough and braiding them. Let rise 30 minutes. Bake in pre-heated oven at 350 degrees Farenheit until done
(approximately 20 minutes).
For Ostara cakes, finely chop two golden eating apples and hazelnuts (filberts) to taste per recipe. At the stage where the recipe calls for making loaves, flatten the pieces of dough until they are about half an inch thick and roughly as wide as your hand with fingers outspread. Smear each piece with honey, then put apple chunks and nuts on and roll up loaf with the fillings inside. Pinch the dough shut over the seams so that the honey does not leak out in the baking.
Pie that some black woman taught me;
Serves 6-8, make it for ya fam.
4 medium sized potatoes, peeled and chopped
500g minced beef
1 onion, diced
1 garlic clove, finely chopped
1 green and 1 red capsicum (Peppers for you Americans), diced
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon Cajun Seasoning
4 chorizo sausages, sliced or diced
1 teaspoon dried chilli flakes (optional)
2 tablespoons plain flour
200g can sweetcorn, drained
1 sweet potato, peeled and cut into 1cm dice
1/2 quantity of Cornbread batter
-boil the potatoes until tender then drain, keeping the starchy water.
-Mash the potatoes with butter and milk, season with pepper and salt.
-Cook the mince on medium heat and brown it. (Don’t need oil, as the fat in the meat will provide it). When the meet is browned, add onion, garlic, capsicum. Stir in the salt, pepper and seasoning, then cook for around 10 mins.
Stir in the sliced chorizo, and if you want some more spice, add chilli flakes
-When the meat is cooked, drain out the fat, leaving just a small amount.
-Make a well in the meat, then stir the flour in. This will mix with the liquids, thicken the mixture slightly, whilst keeping the taste.
-Slowly add in the starchy water (around 500ml), then stir in the sweetcorn and sweet potato, let it cook on a low heat for 10mins, or, until the potato is cooked.
-place the mixture in an ovenproof dish, then top it with mashed potatoes, then spread thinly the cornbread mixture over the potatoes.
-Place the dish in an oven, around 180C, then bake for 30-40mins, until the cornbread has risen and cooked through. (Reminder, to check if any bread/cake/ect is cooked, place a knife in it, if it comes out dry and clean, it’s ready).
