Make sure to read these before posting. Ignorantia juris non excusat.
1. No promotion of Degeneracy.
“Degenerate : a lowering of effective power, vitality, or essential quality to an enfeebled and worsened kind or state.”
“From the Latin degeneratus, past participle of degenerare ‘to be inferior to one's ancestors, to become unlike one’s race or kind, a fall from ancestral quality.’”
Examples: Homosexuality, recreational drug use, extramarital promiscuity, extreme violence/gore, and the like.
Use common moral sense.
1 “Humorous” or “Ironic” promotion and posting of a topic, is promotion and posting of said topic.
“Ironically” pretending to be a stoner is at its root still posting drug use and making us deal with, in effect, a stoner. Posting homoeroticism “as a joke” is still posting homoeroticism and in effect making us deal with a homosexual.
Full stop. Get it? Got it? Good.
2. Promotion of other faiths and hard atheism is not allowed here.
Example: You can be a christian and post here, you cannot be a christian and post here about christianity or in pagan topics from a christian perspective. That counts as “introducing strange gods” and our tradition is to offer such people a nice bowl of hemlock.
Am I allowed to proselytise in your church and as the pastor speaks to cry out in point-by-point refutation of his message? No? Ok then.
1 Agnostic “philosophical” or “cultural” paganism / “metaphoricism” is coldly tolerated.
You do not have to believe in the gods as literal divine beings... But if you start talking down the faith in the divine or spreading your scepticism a bit too harshly, thereby corrupting the youth, and we may just feed you hemlock as is the tradition. Tread cautiously in how far you take it.
3. No promotion of illegal activities.
We are not going to meet up to shoot up any schools or burn any churches. Go away mister Mi5/FBI man.
4. Before posting, make an introduction thread for yourself
If you're new to the site, introduce yourself. Simple, right? We're a community, we like to converse and get to know people. New people especially.
5. No personal insults and threats.
Banter is ok, but can be mistaken for the above if done too much or too directly.
6. Stay on topic,
If the discussions shifts too far, then move it to the appropriate thread or make a new thread. Self-Explanatory.
7. Rampant shitposting is not allowed.
Spamming, trying to start arguments and distracting from the discussions of others. By all means have fun but out of place loudness and repetition does not humour make.
8. No Doxxing.
Personal information of anyone can and will be deleted. Doxxing yourself is allowed but extremely discouraged.
9. No shills.
If you’re not here to take part in the community in good faith then you’re not welcome here at all. (((You know who you are))).
10. Abusing the @group roles without a good post or reason is not allowed.
Nobody likes getting bogus notifications. G*rmanics least of all
11. No "downvote harassment" of users in particular. Rate posts on their merit.
No following single users around downvoting them and them alone. Or downvoting just because of who they are.
Having a negative reputation has mechanical forum implications so it is not just a joke.
These rules are entirely at admin/moderator discretion, not yours.
